Getting to Greece

The nearest airport is Thessaloniki International Airport (SKG) (~2.5/3 hours from London) approximately 87 km / 1 hour from Ormylia. From the airport, you can take a taxi, rent a car, or pre-arrange a shuttle to your accommodation.

Where to Stay

We’ve curated a selection of charming areas around Ormylia to suit every travel style, from rustic village life to lively beach towns. While a car is recommended to explore the beauty of Halkidiki, each area offers its own unique experience.
Parking is available at the venue, and taxis are available to call or book. In Ormylia, there is also parking available with a short walk to the church. Renting a car is recommended for guests who wish to explore Halkidiki more freely.

  • Summer is peak season, so early booking is highly recommended.

  • For those looking for a unique experience, staying in a traditional village house or boutique villa can offer an authentic Halkidiki experience.
  • Please note that Uber or Taxi apps are not available in Halkidiki. Book the old-fashioned way: phone them up!
  • The majority of Greeks speak excellent English, no need to worry about communicating with locals.
  • There is quite a lot of traffic on the main roads during the summer, the SatNav/Maps estimation is not always accurate here. Leave earlier than you mean to in order to reach your destination on time (just in case!).
